Does anyone know what this is?? I made a wrong turn today and ended up in their parking lot. It was PACKED. Is this a restaraunt or bar of some sort? Is it worth checking out?

You are correct in your description of Vickory's. Their web site is located at
http://www.vickerysbarandgrill.com/i...html?menu_main
Two other nearby restaurant/bar establishments you might like in the same vicinity are RB's and Reds Ice House.

Joe, Thanks for the link. The menu looks good. I will have to check it out! I am not much into seafood (I have only tried shrimp...and it was way too rubbery) but living here is making me want to give it a try!

Just get to Vickery's earlier. It does get packed around 6-7 some nights, and you'll have to wait. Great views and great food though. Definitely worth a visit.

The fire marshal shut them down for code violations.

They neglected to realize that with the current construction/demolition next door, they only have 1 entrance/exit. Not exactly to code, even if it is only temporarily. A shame though, Red's is fantastic.

I happen to know, for a fact, that there are still two exits from Red's.

However, the second exit is off the upper deck into Shem Creek...
