Wow that's shocking! I guess every region of the country has its favorite places. All I no is that Chipotle has particular days throughout the year to thank its customers. They give out free burritos all day long, and they do it without any formal advertisement. It is all just word of mouth. By dinner time there are 30 minute lines just to get one free burrito! What is Moe's?

Moe's is a chain of Mexican restaurants, all around the United States, that serves burritos, quesadillas, salads, fajitas, and almost any other kind of Mexican food, and it is cheap, as well. They also have a trademark greeting when you go into their restaurants, "Welcome to Moe's!!"
They have several locations in your state of Ohio, including the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Cleveland areas.
A chain that I would like to have in Charleston would be Krystal. That restaurant space on Highway 61 down past the Rite Aid, before Old Towne Rd, could make a ton of money.
They moved out of the area over a decade ago, but many more people have moved in from around the Southeast, and they know the Krystal name and would support it (plus it would be big for the HS/college students, free wi-fi).

There used to be 2 Krystal's in Charleston but they closed years ago. One in West Ashley and the other was on Rivers Ave..

Krystals? Isn't that a bunch of greasy fast food? Umm yeah, think I'll pass.
Oh yeah and Qdoba's is better than Moe's IMO.

My son answered an ad about a kitten who needed a loving home, about 15 years ago, and he called the people who placed the ad. We met them at the Krystal's on Sam Rittenburg (near Burlington's), where they gave us all her little items: food, collar, dishes, vaccine. papers, etc. We named her Krystal - how appropo, eh? She just had to be put to sleep last year due to cancer, but little Krystal was a wonderful kitty...we miss her!
Just a fond Krystal memory.........

I had high hopes for Moe's after I found a lack of good 'quickmex' food.
And was totally disappointed. Not good at all. I just got home from NYC and had my Chipotle fix.
In my opinion, just the quality of ingredients makes all the difference.

How about a chain of stores that sell nothing but Kool Aid?
Seems like most people in this country are drinking it heavily these days.

I would open up a sport store that actually sold items other than just 'carolina' crap. There are many many transplants here! Otherwise, I'll keep buying online...

I went to OSU and BGSU, but wouldn't come to SC and expect to find articles from my colleges here...nor would/do I consider the local products to be "crap".
