My husband and I looked at a few apartment complexes and were looking for opinions on a couple of them. Windward long pointe, Gregorie Ferry Landing, and Hibbens Ferry. Need any opinions, whether good or bad. We are leaning towards Windward Long Pointe. Thanks for your help!

Kelly,
Are you working in the area, retired, looking for close proximity to...?

Windward / Long Pointe Road by the Port can get pretty busy at times. So turning in from 526W (Daniel Island) can get backed up, you will have to navigate around Semi's routinely. You can shop at Bell Hall Shopping Center for practically anything. You can even ride your bike/walk on a sidewalk, although I would probably avoid during the 'rush hours' because of having to cross back-and-forth Long Pointe Road multiple times.

Gregorie Ferry is not a trip I would want to make every day if I was commuting towards downtown Charleston/elsewhere.

Hibbens Ferry is a great location, mutliple sidewalks and neighborhoods that you can ride through and practically end up anywhere inside 525 in Mt Pleasant. Shem Creek, grocery stores, workout facilities, etc. are all within 'bike' distance. Although these apartments aren't new, they offer the best location/accessibility in my opinion.

Thanks for your opinion. We will be working from home. Really like the windward long pointe. Just wanted to be closer to the beach. Thanks again.
