Default Another Thread About Crime

I was looking at several lists of the safest and most dangerous cities by population, and North Charleston is on every one of them. It's hard to believe that builders would develop new communities in a dangerous area, but I'm not in that industry, so I might be never naive.

A while back I posted and asked about a townhome community there and, again, I'm finding another development (Vistiana by Great Southern Homes) that is new and might have exactly what I'm looking for, since the homes don't share any interior walls.

The FBI statistics list North Charleston as having one of the highest murder rates in the country. Does this mean you can't leave your house at night to go to Walgreen's without risking your life? I would appreciate a reply from someone who lives there or has lived there.

It's certain parts of NC that bring all of NC down. I shop in a few different areas of NC and I don't feel unsafe at all. I just know what parts to stay away from.

Show me those statistics.
From the FBI database, not from a newspaper report.
