Wow, I can't believe people are out and about today. The winds are horrible. With some of these gusts it reminds me of Hurricane Matthew.
I just assumed the post offices were closed because I couldn't reach any of them via phone. Ace Hardware was closed altogether, and no one answered at Gum or Trolley Rd POs. I even tried the UPS stores and got no answers at any of those either. I feel bad for my mail lady if she is having to deliver today.
Electricity still flickering here and there.
Thanks BSJSAS.
People here worry me.....if we have any flooding, it's just a matter of time before the lifted trucks start plowing through.
I was just told that Target, walmart (not sure which one, though), Wendy's and Publix are open.
Cable is out, still have electricity.
Spoke to a friend in North Charleston. He thinks they had a tornado. He's without electricity. Hopefully it's not widespread.
What will happen when the tide goes out, the rain stops and the wind returns to normal? In other words, how well does the drainage system work? I know they are building new drainage infrastructure, but what about now?

The drainage project isn't supposed to be completed for another 3 years. So flooding as usual. It'll probably recede quick though when the tide goes out and all the commotion stops.
The boat was bumping against some guy's dock and he tied it up.
No one owns it, is it his boat now?
I'd charge $20 a head to paint it...
