Point Hope Commons is a retail center that will locate at the southwest quadrant of Clements Ferry Road and Point Hope Parkway at the Cainhoy Plantation in the city of Charleston in Berkeley County, South Carolina. It will be anchored by a 45,600-square-foot supermarket with a pharmacy drive through, Publix. An opening date for Publix has not been announced yet.
They're currently in the process of widening it from 536 to Jack Primus. Then the next step will be from Jack Primus to the bridge I believe. Then it will all bottle neck on 41 until it is widened in probably 2030
Publix, Point Hope Commons, Charleston, South Carolina
As previously mentioned, an opening date for Publix at Point Hope Commons has not been announced yet. Publix has recently announced or is preparing to begin construction on stores opening later in 2018. If ground breaks this year, a late 2018 or early 2019 opening should be realistic.
Good, now just need some more dining options off of Clements Ferry
The entire tri-county area needs more retail. We have had a growth spurt for 20 years now and retail is still 20 years lagging. I would encourage anyone who's contemplating opening a retail franchise here in Charleston to do so, there's more business that there are businesses to service them currently.
