It's little 'ole me again with another question, haha! A search didn't reveal any other threads about this subject, so hopefully I'm not being repetitive.

I was wondering, on average, what the utilities cost would be for a one bedroom apartment in Charleston? Information on any utilities would be helpful, even if it's just one. I'm particularly interested in electric, as I imagine A/C drives up the cost substantially during the brutal summer months.

Thanks in advance, all! :-)

I can't speak from personal experience, but my in-laws have a 2BR apt and pay $106/month on a budget plan. They keep 2 TVs running constantly and like to leave the door open while the AC is on, so as a rough guess you could figure less than $100.

Thanks, JonahWicky, this information is very helpful and reassuring! Less than $100/month isn't bad at all for the summer months...

Thanks, adam_22!

ayoskillz, hmmm, it depends. I'm a chill baby so if it was just me, I'd prefer less chill. However, for the sake of my dog, I keep it relatively cold...trying to recall the temperature range...I'd say average. Not too cold and not too warm. Maybe somewhere in the 70s?
