Me and my husband will be moving to Goose Creek in June from Norfolk VA due to a military transfer. We finally settled on Coventry Green apartments as the best choice for us in our price range and it is the closest to the Nuclear School where he will be staff(so we will be in Charleston for a few years). I was just wondering if anyone would have any info on this area. It looks really nice with the other communities around it, but I still wonder about crime in the area. Charleston is a big difference from Norfolk VA for us. Right now I am basically leaving VA kicking and screaming to stay, so any positives of the Goose Creek area would be appreciated. Thank you so much for your help!

You made a great choice with Coventry Green. Welcome to the area!

Goose Creek is a middle class suburb. There are rougher areas, which you avoided. The Crowfield area, which you will be near, has a nice park and some great walking trails. There is also plenty of shopping.

Feel free to reach out with more specific questions, but you should enjoy the area.
