Default North Central Area

Hi--

I am interested in learning about the North Central area of Downtown. I've been looking around online and there are some really cute houses for sale and for rent in that area that are pretty affordable. Is the area sketchy or would you all consider it a safe place to live?

Thanks!

You need to be absolutely specific in the area of North Central downtown.
It can get very sketchy, very quickly.

Some of the houses I've seen online are on Maple and on Cypress. There's one on Cypress near Rutledge and another toward King. Also, there's one on Magnolia Ave. Thanks!

Generally speaking, I'd still say sketchy. Are you looking at anything in Wagener Terrace, i.e. across Rutledge from North Central, perhaps more towards Grove, St. Margaret, Gordon, Alberta, etc.?

DJ is right, cross over to Wagener & you'll be much better off, but it will cost you more.
There is typically a very good reason why something is lower priced in Downtown.
