Default Any info on Hanahan and Hanahan homes?

We have been looking at the homes in the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area for a long time now. Does anyone have any information on Hanahan or the homes in Hanahan? We have seen some online but don't know much about it. It seems like everyone talks a lot about Summerville but not so much about Hanahan? Why isn't there as much talk or growth there? From looking on the map it looks closer to Charleston than Summerville?

I was raised in Hanahan. It's a nice place to live that is very convenient to everything. The preferred area's to live are Dominion Hills and Otranto. If you are looking for a new home there is Tanner Plantation that has a few subdivisions in it.

There really isn't any room for Hanahan to grow into a place like S'Ville or Mt. P as it's surrounded by North Charleston. You will find generations of people that grew up in Hanahan.....like my family. lol
