so you can see the rates for various sections of Charleston, not just the entire city. I just checked my zip code here vs my old zip code where I moved from and the violent crime and property crime rates are almost identical -- both double the national average.

In 29464 in Mt. Pleasant it is the same as the national average
In 29465 in M.P. it is almost double the national average about the same as Northern James Island and also 29466 is higher than 29464 but a little less than 29465.

It never ceases to amaze me how the close in Mount Pleasant section has such a low crime rate. You'd think property crime would be high. Maybe it is due to the lack of any low income neighborhoods nearby.

I like seeing GC in the top 5 of the lowest violent and property crime lists.
