Default Vacationing in Edisto Beach. Need advice.

Hi All

I am bringing my family (wife and 2 girls 7 and 5) down to Edisto Beach for a weeks vacation at the end of this month. We will be scouting houses around the Summerville area for 2 of those days, but the remaining time will be strictly R & R time. What are some of the "Must Do" things in the area? We will probably spend one of those days in Charleston doing the tourist thing. Maybe a trip to Folly Beach. I just want to experience as much of the area as possible. Any good ideas? Thanks.

Jeff

Carriage tour of downtown and the Battery. Take in a Riverdogs game at the Joe Riley stadium downtown. Certainly hang out at Folly Beach if you're in the area. Maybe take a bike ride/walk across the Ravenel bridge, great picture taking spots and plenty of exercise. Tour some of the plantations, i.e. Drayton Hall, Magnolia Gardens, Middleton Place, etc.

If you are not staying at Edisto Beach State Park you should pay a visit and take in the nature trails.
