As an update to this question, in Jan 2009 a new regional league for girls is seeking active interest from area lacrosse players. Southern Storm Lacrosse is being formed as a sister organization to the highly successful Midwestern Force league. If enough girls sign up, a series of clinics will be organized in Summerville/Charleston, run by coaches drawn from all over the eastern US with an aim to attend tournaments that will provide college recruiting opportunities. This is an amazing opportunity, and hopefully it will succeed with your help! Check out info at the following websites (scroll down to page 6 of the newsletter).
