Default **emilybh** re: hair salons!

I broke down and tried a salon in Mt. Pleasant because I didn't have time to drive to Myrtle Beach to see my regular stylist.

I am SO happy with the results - my hair seriously looks better than it ever has, and it is all because of Christina at Indulgence Salon on Hungryneck Blvd.! She actually corrected some of my blond as it was turning a little gross. She redid my highlights and gave me a FANTASTIC layered cut. My hair is short, sassy, & blond and I love it! I highly recommend that you check them out. Christina is the owner and is so sweet! Everyone there was so nice and it wasn't stuffy or pretentious at all. I will never ever go back to my other stylist!

If you are still a little wary, check out all of these reviews - apparently I'm not the only person that loves their hair! Indulgence a Salon - Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 - Reviews: Beauty Salons

Good luck!

molliemei, if you don't mind me asking, what type of hair do you have? Straight or curly? I have naturally curly hair and it took me until I was 29 years old to find someone who knew how to cut it!!!! Moving to SC from NY, I was thinking I was going to have to drive or fly back up to see my stylist every six weeks!!!!

An idea....If you see someone with a good haircut ask them where they go. I would recommend my guy but he's too far from where you all live.

I have naturally wavy to curly hair that is really, REALLY thick. I always worry about that too, but I would definitely recommend seeing Christina. She did a wonderful job with the cut and even took the time to teach me how to style it. If you go, tell her Mollie sent you!!!

Oh, and another thing, when I first moved down here from Pittsburgh I thought I was going to have to fly back 'home' to get my hair done - I know you'll find someone here that will do a great job!

This is so good to hear!! I have the same type of hair and was worried too since we are moving down next week. Now I will have to check them out. If you don't mind me asking, what were their prices like?

Thanks!!

I just had my hair cut here and I love it. I went to Kaitlyn but she is leaving in a few weeks. Maybe next time I will try Christina. My hair is very very thick (enough for three people) and wavy. It tends to get frizzy and huge. I got a short shoulder legnth cut with a lot of layers/texture. It looks super cute. I'll try to post a pic if I can figure out how. LOL.
