Amen to the last comment I think some people in general will just comment, I had to learn not to take offense to that, maybe the northers ( I am married to one and he is kind, generous, and all good things) but being up north the cities are huge and traffic is a nightmare and I think they are not rude just hurried. I have lived in the south all of my life and never had a northern person make any comments about anything but if you aren't a resident of good ole' USA and don't like how we do something move away.

People are people where ever you go, I am a southerner, and I found NYC a great place to visit, not once did I get a rude response when I asked for directions, yep I wanted to go to the Empire State Building, the people there where friendly, and helpful. I say this but do be carefull of the cab drivers that pretend not to speak english, your quick trip will turn into a long and stressfull and very expensive journey!

That's cab drivers for you. I was in Las Vegas.....and I just needed to go a couple of miles and he took us 7 miles out of our way around the backs of the hotels etc.
So, really if you think about it it happens a lot whenever here is a pay-by-the-minute/hour situation.

I think part of it is the fact that Northerners moving in are taking away what makes the South southern...whether they mean to or not.
Okay I'll waltz my way back back to the Greenville-Spartanburg forum lol. Just wanted to comment.
