Do you get that horrible paper mill smell near Park Circle very often? Hopefully not, because we are looking at possibly buying a home there next year. Love the potential of this cute and conveniently located area!

You can get the paper mill smell pretty much anywhere in the area, depending on the wind. I work off of Rivers Ave and don't smell it there very often.

You have to look at wind paterns.....

Predominant winds are from the east off of the ocean, this tends to bring the stench from the paper mill inland, this is why Daniel Island doesn't get it that often, During the summer time the winds tend to be out of the SE, then they shift to the NE during the fall and winter....

Park Cirle is SW of the paper mill that means during the fall and winter you will get more of the smell than during spring and summer, this doesn't mean that you won't smell it during the summer and will be smothered by it during the winter, it just means that the winds tend to bring it to you more during those times it all depends on how close you are to the mill......
