Default I am NOT Emeril Lagasse, but...

I have mad cravings for Chocolate Covered Strawberries and normally two or three times a year get a few dozen. Usually pay in the neighborhood of $24/dz...

So this year, the wifey went to MT P with my Mom and they did the whole strawberry pickin' thing. Brought back like 6 dozen for $6.00. Well not to have them go to waste I got domesticated during the hockey game lastnite and created these with a NET cost of $4.00

Making anyone hungry?

I am a player as well as a fan...I've been playing since I was 3 yrs old. Started back home in NY, then played HS Hockey in Ridgefield CT, Played 1 year of College and had enough. I did have the luxury of playing with Jeremy Roenick for 3 years, he was a line-mate of mine. He went professional with the Flyers, Phoenix Coyote's and is now in his last season with the SJ Sharks. Unfortunately for me, he grew to 6ft 2" and I stopped growing, therefore getting out of the game (at least at that level)

I just play now @ the Ice Palace in what you would call a beer league.

Fan - YES - HUGE - NY Rangers!

Oh sweet, I played several season on the team I started some 7 yrs ago, Charleston Express which played on Tues nights but my schedule doesn't work > or should I say "that's poker nite now" (shhhhhh) so I moved to a Sunday night league with Betty Ford, that's the only night that works for me. I am looking into for next season the "over 35" league.

I probably know your hubby, I managed the CIP from the day it opened to May of 2000.

My husband grew up playing hockey at CIP He took a couple of years off after high school and college, and just started playing again with the Saints about two seasons ago...best way to end the weekend

I have a couple more questions about Cane Bay too, if you don't mind answering-- what prompted you and your wife to move there, and do you see many young kids around the neighborhood? We have a two year old and want to make sure that we'll be moving into a family-dense area...

Thanks for all of the answers you've given me on here! Maybe we'll see you at CIP in a couple of weeks!

I am 100% sure I know him then...

We used to live in Crowfield, bought new construction in 2002, and at the time the housing market was booming...One day we just drove around "window" shopping and really liked Cane-Bay, so decided to sell our home, make a little money and go larger. Hoping one day that the market will be good again, we opted for new construction. Other than it just being a tad bit rural now, we love CB. And we know that the rural-ness of it will be short coming.

As far as kids go, YES, lots...Have seen all ages, from Mom's walking their little one's in strollers to the older skate boarding one's. I only know of a few couples that are little older and do not have small kids, other than that you should fit right in.

The neighboor hood is really mixed with transplants...We are from NY, next to us is Philly, next to them NJ, then Florida, Washington State, DC and NC. So people from all over. Very diverse

So what's hubby's name? I know everyone on the Saints! Have some very good friends that skate with them.
