Default Recommendation for Personal Chef for 1 time in-house dinner

Can anyone recommend a personal chef/catering service that will come to my house and cook a great dinner? Maybe someone who specializes in low country or seafood and has a menu for me to choose from?

I'm trying to plan a special evening-in for my parents while they are in Folly Beach during an upcoming week.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Thumbs up Personal Chef in Charleston SC

I found this posting today and had to tell you if you haven't found a personal chef in charleston that you like so far. Jon has been cooking for us for over a year every week and we love him. His food is exactly the way I would cook it if had the time, or could cook. He knows what we all like to eat and even the kids get excited on Tuesdays because they know he is coming. I remember how hard it used to be to get dinner together and getting the kids to the table but now its a treat every night. My husband even ate his first green vegetable las year with out complaints. you can contact him at (843)475-0629 and i think his web site is lacuisinesc dot com. If not I know you can find him at mycharlestonchef dot com. I cant say enough he does a great job!

Smile la Cuisine Personal Chef Service

You're right, the website is lacuisinesc.com and everyone really should check it out. I've been using his services for almost two years now, and I wish that I had started twenty years ago. The food is delicous--and healthy--and I love getting to sit down as a family for a meal, but not having to stress about having the time to prepare it. Trust me--get Jon!

We recently used a Chef by the name of Merrit Brady on a trip to the Charleston area. The food was fantastic, he was very personable and professional. I would highly recommend his services for anyone looking for a personal or private chef while visiting the Charleston area. His website is The Pampered Palate Personal Chef Service in Charleston, SC
