Okay, so this has nothing to do with the city. I was wondering if Coronation Street is aired in SC. The other Canadians know what I am talking about
I am a huge fan of the show and watch up here but was wondering if it plays in the States or not.
Thanks, not that this would keep me from coming but it is always a perk to go with the sun

Hey there. I'm a Canadian who has been living in the USA for 10 years. You cannot get Coronation Street anywhere in the USA. I've been e-mailing ITV (the tv station that produces Coronation Street in the UK) and they can't seem to get any US network, tv station, whatever to buy it. I have to keep up through their web site. I've also been campaigning to get access to the videos on their web site. Again -- licensing issues and no luck.

Eastenders was on for a while but didn't do so well. The guy from ITV used that as an example as to why Coronation Street has never been picked up in the USA.

This is too good for me to pass up so I'm going to say it..

Stop watching TV and go play outside!! It's beautiful out!

I can't tell you how many times I heard that when I was a kid. And now that I'm a mom...

UK Nova is where I have found Corrie, University Challenge and other stuff I'll miss when we move next month. It's a free torrent site (ie you'll need some bandwith to download the episodes), and sometimes you need to wait a few days till you can sign up as they have a user limit, but it is pretty good: Home - UKNova
