You have (3) choices, but only two of them are legit...
We started with Home Telco as none of the others were in CB when we closed. We quickly switched!!
Comcast was our choice for price and HD channels.
The other option is TimeWarner and from what I've heard from my other neighbors there, they have been OK with that too...
I guess flip a coin > Heads Comcast > Tails Time Warner
Guess I will see you soon new neighbor...

Does Knowledgy work there? - I know a few people who love it (Summerville) but I've never checked into getting it here. I've heard TimeWarner nickles and dimes you and I don't love Comcast, but they'd be your best choice. We have them and are happy with them.

Comcast said only Time warner services the area. Time warner can't find the address so they can't set up an account. The only one that will help is Home. Direct TV couldn't give me a straight answer either. So my plan to get this installed next week when I am there for the closing is totally out the window

NEVER use time warmer, they use old out dated equipment and service lines, and they ********* over any time they can

Some of us have no choice. If I could switch to Comcast, I would.
Now I usually don't complain about things as trivial as cable, but this company has completely frustrated me. 5 service appointments, including one appointment with a Master Technician and they STILL can't give me uninterrupted service or decent picture quality.
So I'm stuck home all day today, waiting for a Time Warner technician since they wouldn't/couldn't give me a shorter time window other than 8 am-8 pm in order to disconnect the cable TV portion of our service.
I give up.

I may be missing something, but how can you have THREE choices for hard-wired cable tv service here?

Where we are at Cane-Bay Old Rice Retreat, YES, we have 3 choices. I am guessing that the other poster MBMckenna is in Sanctuary Cove and Comcast has NOT run the cabeling yet??
We started with Home Tel for about a week, then Comcast lines were completed, then shortly after that Time Warner hooked up their equipment. Its really cool having 3 to choose from, makes life easier.
And BTW, MBMkenna who said there not on the map yet, well, either are we...You have to get past customer service and TELL them that you know the lines are in place. If you want PM me and I will give you my address, then they can at least have something to go by.

We had Knology and the switched to Time Warner cable, phone and internet in April and I wish we had stayed with Knology. They had their problems but NOTHING like TW. The phone and cable are OK ... a little static on the phone now & then but I can live with it.
Internet is another thing. We have 3 computers in the house and we have had problems since day one. Long story short, we can't keep a connection. They've been back out here 11 times to fix it and it still isn't fixed. I have to call tech support at least once every other day, sometimes every day, because I have no connection. I finally had to file a complaint with the BBB. Still waiting on the outcome of that.

Just a word of advice, whenever you get new cable company service installed, always have them install new cabling for your property, that is part of their install.
TW did it for me, as I have their digital phone and all the other crap. Works Like a charm. But if they hadnt, cable would not have worked as well as the old cable was not giving a good signal, so things would have been intermitent, and I would have called many times too.
So, research, then decide.
Comcast also regulates their internet. Research that too, as they dont like people using their badnwidth up.
Try this site as it will tell you if any of your servers are blocking/limiting traffic. Especially if you download media. Its a busy site, but all you do is start testing, no software is installed.
