My wife and I are recently married and are considering moving to the Charleston area. My wife is a nurse so I am not worried about employment opportunities for her, however I am in the sales/marketing field and am wondering if there are opportunities there that I would be able to take advantage of based my my background. We are originally from northern VA so I am used to making a decent living despite the high cost of living here. Anyone have any ideas?

We were in your exact situation. We are from northern West Virginia. My wife is a nurse and I am a Financial advisor/sales/marketing.
What kind of sales/marketing have you done? |

I think you'll be fine. Check into the local business papers and resources to get a feel for which corporations are represented in the area, and who might be local in your field. Charleston Business Journal
