Doesn't surprise me that a KB fan doesn't know how to wear sunblock.

Your coming back just in time for the heat and humidity of August. lol
Big difference from central PA? Most people here (including me) lack CENTRAL AIR. Today Charleston only beat the high up here by a degree, so it's great practice... only two more days!

Very cool that you do Skywarn... it really is a valuable service!

Humidity is back! Oh how I've missed having those bad hair days. *sarcasm*

I've enjoyed being involved with Skywarn. Fortunately the year I trained they also offered an advanced training session. It was pretty cool going over to the NWS at the airport. Ohhh the fun I could have working in there with the setup they have.

Default Living in North Charleston

Hey freindly folks - I may be moving to North Charleston. Is the crime bad, and are the neighborhoods geting more run-down or picking up?
Advice on other good places sya 10-15 min form dwtn Charleston whoulf be helpful
Some other general questions:
What is the traffic like in the morning rush hour coming into dwtn Charleston? And the afternoon commute?
Is it easy to get to the beach and swim?

Thanks!!
GH

Yes crime is bad in N. Charleston, I would suggest West Ashley, Johns Island or James Island....

Traffic is bad, but depending on where you are coming from will determine just how bad you think it is...

The beaches are nice, but swimming can be hit and miss depending on rip currents so be careful...

MtP is just a suburb of Charleston Proper, just like N. Charleston....

If a hurricane hits this area MtP is in just as much trouble as the rest of us...
