Default Moving to Charleston!

Hello Everyone! My husband and I will be moving to Charleston in the next few months. We are considering the Summerville area to settle in. We have a German Shepherd Ava and I have not been able to find any information on licensing her. I would prefer to buy right away, but the way the market is right now that depends on how fast our current home sells in NC. Any advice on if there are pet friendly rentals or lease options while home is on the market, and licensing of our dog would be appreciated. We are so excited to be moving to this beautiful city!!!

The only licensing I know of is the mandatory rabies vaccination for dogs and cats. Summerville-Dorchester News: Area rabies clinics set for Saturdays

As far as rentals that allow German Shephards (gorgeous dogs) most apartment complexes won't. Private home owners who currently have their homes for rent would probably be a better choice. How much home would you be looking to rent, in the meantime, and how much would you be looking to pay each month?

3bdrm 2 bath, preferably with 2 car garage. hopefully not over 1200, but I'm not familiar with the market there yet though. I cant give up my baby, she is professionally trained and a very good dog, not destructive at all, unless you are a squirrel....I havent lived in an apartment for at least 15 years or so...wouldnt be opposed to it, but they would have to take the dog.
