Possibly relocating here (Charleston: house prices, living, prices)

Hello,
I am looking to relocate from California. CA the stink hole of the west. Sorry, but I was born and raised in CA and I hate it.
I was wondering what a townhouse or home is selling for in the area?
How easy or hard it is to get a job? I have 8 years clerical in the medical field and 2 years clerical in Law Enforcement, but I really want to get into doing tours or something in the historical field.

I can totally relate to you. I, too, am from CA and still am in CA. I was born & raised here too and want so badly to move to SC. My daughter and her husband is already living there in goose creek.

I'm heading out there in two weeks to visit again. This will be the first time I"ll be there in the heat of summer. She's telling me to prepare myself since the weather is so different from CA. I can't wait!
