I need to know if this area is "not too great". the apartments are called Spring Hill Apartments they are at 100 Swift Blvd. Goose Creek the zip is 29445. they look beautiful in the pictures. Does anyone know of these apartments and if so what can you tell me about them?? please...
This is a "not so great" area.

i don't think that at all. and i no, i don't have a false sense of security of the neighborhood i live in. i try to be aware...but i also read and research and feel if i have to be in charleston anyway right now, i am in a good place for my family.

again. stop making such a stretch to see things that are not there and put words in peoples mouths because they may not agree with you that north charleston rocks. good for you we get that you like it. that is why you made it your home. but be prepared for others to see it differently and learn to be ok with that. seriously...time to move on. the whole point of this board is to give opinions from all kinds of people so others can gather info and make informed choices on the area. so why not let people discuss freely and simply disagree without being childish and ridiculous.

I would also like to know more than just an area is not so good. For some people a bad area is where people play their music too loud, others where there are shooting and muggings etc. It would be helpful to just give more detail.

I am trying to find an area in Charleston to look for an apartment in and hearing an area is not so great doesn't tell me much. I am going to come and check out places but I just want an idea of what areas to not bother with.

i know!! i've grown up in areas that a 70 yr old lady would say is the worst neighborhood but a 25 yr old would say is just fine. i can deal with music and parties i just dont want to fear for my life while i sleep.

There is lots of crime and drug activity in that area and it's run down. That area definately needs some stimulous money. Come check it out for yourself and see what you think. Everyone has opinions on the area's they think are good or bad.

I moved to Hanahan for a year from Tennessee and unless you want to hear gun fire and sirens all day and night i would not go. I loved Charleston, but I think i prefer summerville. Nice and quiet.
