Default We didn't have any problems w/Knology

While living in our apartment we had Knology -- no problems at all. We now have Time Warner -- problems daily for the entire month. Internet and phone go out almost daily.

Comcast is larger than Knology, locally. Comcast internet recently updated their terms of use though, and have limited internet bandwidth monthly down to 250GB beginning in October. How that actually affects any of us yet though, is entirely unknown.

I bet that's an attempt to slow down internet piracy. Does the average internet user get anywhere close to that?

Do you have a choice? We've had both Knology and Comcast... Knology was MUCH better. Comcast goes down a lot. We have to have Comcast currently because Knology not available to us.

We have Comcast for cable and internet (also in Park West) and experience no problems! I love the new On Demand it is so much better than the old version.

KNOLOGY!!!!!!!!!!

If you have a choice, go with Knology! Never, ever, ever Comcast. I've had both - after having Knology for a year, we moved and had to go back to Comcast.

Comcast is AWFUL. They came out to our house to fix the same problem THREE TIMES...and each time the technician told us "obviously the last guy didn't know what he was doing." And guess what...the problem never got fixed!!!!!

Knology, Knology, Knology, a thousand times Knology.

(I should really be on their payroll, with how often I recommend them )

Another vote for Knology. I've had both providers and Knology has better rates and customer service. The only thing that they don't currently offer is OnDemand, but I seldom watched it when I had it through Comcast.

I had a similar experience as My Sunshine. I had to get Comcast to send a technician for the same problem three times. Each time the tech showed up he bad-mouthed the last person who did the job. Also, you'll be waiting at least a week for someone to come out.

Finally, Comcast throttles BitTorrent bandwidth. I know that BitTorrent users are a small percentage of Comcast customers, but I use it frequently so switching to Knology was a no-brainer.
