Default Belle Hall Subdivision

What's up with with Belle Hall? There are at least 30 homes from ~ $800K for sale. Out of those, there are at least 5 which have been abandoned. A whole street (Barbadian) is for sale and I saw a corner where all four homes were for sale. Beautiful homes but I'd be cautious buying in that subdivision at this juncture. Too much risk.

it might be a builder who went bust...maybe?
I checked MLS/tax records and they are all owned by different builders and one is owned by an LLC.

From what it sounds like -- if they are builder owned -- they just all hit the market at the wrong time.

AcadianIrish is on a distinguished road
Seems that the timing was wrong for some of this developers....they picked a great location with a seemingly vibrant community at Belle Hall and the problem is....they overinflated the prices....now....it's a softening market...so...they are trying to get rid of them. From all accounts, I've heard only positive comments about that development so I can only guess that purchasing a property in there right now wouldn't be a bad investment for the future...

That's the "buzz" I'm getting from the locals who live in "Hibben" at Belle Hall...I think many of them are waiting for price drops too....so they can upgrade! lol
