We all have dream houses. Where is yours located in the Charleston area? How much does/would yours cost? What is it that you like so much? Dream big.

I would live in a rambling, turn-of-the-century home on the waterfront in Rockville - cost approximately $700,000.
I have several friends who live there and the lifestyle is so-o-o-o laid back....fishing, boating, sitting on porches catching the breeze from the water, a glass of wine here and there, no traffic, ah-h-h-h-h-h...

If we are talking just the Charleston area....mine would probably be Kiawah Island....on the beach....ahhhhh....

(IF we could afford it....AND it wasn't so far from my hubby's work....AND there was no threat of hurracaines......AND there weren't sharks in the water.....hummmm....it's not sounding so "dreamy" anymore.........lol)

There is a house I pass on my way to Myrtle Beach everyother week, it is 10K ft2 and on the beach.

The other one would be the round house on Sulivans Island.

Well since it has to be Charleston I guess any house on the beach would be fine. My dream home is in Florida on a little island.

Yup, I'd go with Sullivans Island, nowhere in particular. Maybe if things work out well for me I'll get a shot one day.

Hopefully by then it won't be 5-story condos..

It's on the Charleston peninsula, with a dock on the Ashley.

Prior to the stock market crash, I had my eye on Sullivans Island. Now my dream house is in Monks Corner.

If I has to be Charleston, Peninsula here too. Some 7,000 sq. ft house with a courtyard and a pool that has been tastefully updated.

Must have dock.
