How do I go about finding info on monthly rentals in the coastal areas there?
Since we can't afford to move there and weekly beach vacations are too short and high, I was wondering if there were any sites that advertise monthly rates.
What about the Long Grove/Marias/ Seaside Plantation area? (We have a small dog btw.)

Do you ever use vrbo.com? I like it because the there are many details and photos of the property and they offer free guarantees. Most have an availability calendar so it's easy to see if a property isn't renting which could mean a bargain on a 4 week rental. Good Luck.

Actually, we ended up finding ours on Island realty's site (islandrealty.com). They have lots of off season monthly rates. (the hard part on their site is finding ones that takes pets)
I search vrbo.com a lot also, (lots of pet-friendly places with a fee) but few of them list monthly rates or if they even offer. You have to email each one individually and ask.

Also rentals can be listed on MLS for month to month rentals. So you could call a Realtor and ask. I don't currently see any available but you can have your agent always keep looking.
