Question Anyone moved from Central Florida to Charleston area?

Hi. My husband and I are entertaining the idea of moving to the area and would like some feedback from someone familiar with both areas (if possible!) We currently live in Seminole County and I love the schools, all the shopping nearby, and the fact that I've grown up here and know it inside and out. My husband is from Long Island and would like to move somewhere that has a tad more of a season change. The only way we know here that it's a new season is when the guy on the radio or TV says it! We would also just like a change. I've always wanted to live somewhere else and experience a new city. Not to mention, crime in central Florida has gotten pretty bad. Not so much in our county or city, but all around us has really gone downhill. We've heard a lot about Mt. Pleasant and Summerville and was wondering if anyone could tell us how they compare. Thanks so much for any feedback!!
