Saw that one, thx. It's a townhouse. Beautiful but no yard. How pricey are the single families - does anyone know? Are they done building?

There are no RE listings for anything else, and I found no "solds" other than the townhouses. Contact a realtor. We don't have much information otherwise.

A realtor can at least tell you about any other sold properties and pending construction.

Post The Ponds update

The Ponds is now in full swing (Nov 2013)! there are over 100 homes in the developement. We are in phase 2B and 2C is being developed now. Most houses start in the mid 200's and go up to the mid 400's. Lot sizes are small and medium with a few larger sizes. There are 2 Senior sections one is gated and one is being started with the roads. The homes exteriors are all hardy plank with some variations. The grocery stores are between 1 1/2 miles to 3 miles with the larger stores Wal Mart and Target about 6 miles away. There are 2 schools within 5 miles.
The traffic is not a problem at The Ponds. By the time you reach Orangeburg Road the traffic has thinned out.
I am from Maryland and love the location where The Ponds sits!! Very quiet area!

Not terribly inconvenient but not close to a lot of stuff either. The best closest grocery store is the Publix in Knightsville which is probably about 10 minutes or so away. There is supposed to be a shopping center with a Harris Teeter and a movie theater going up on the property across the street. I think it will be a very desirable area to live, the homes are nice and the amenities will be very convenient. I love the big farmhouse. I have thought about living in there one day myself. There are traffic backups in the area of Dorchester Rd, Orangeburg Rd and Bacon's Bridge Road in the mornings and afternoons. All 3 of these roads are supposed to be widened within the next couple of years.

You might want to take a look at Limehouse Plantation which isn't too far from The Ponds. It is going to be somewhat similar. The only thing is Limehouse is just as new if not newer than The Ponds. I don't think anyone even lives in there yet.
