Default Marina

Hello,

Just visiting from the Charlotte forum but I had a quick question. My family has a 45' houseboat in the Charlotte area and we are looking to move it to the Charleston, Kiawah, Wild Dunes (somewhere down there) area. I was hoping to get suggestions from you as to a good marina to take a look at. Should I look on the intercoastal? Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Here are two of the marina's in the area. The first one is real popular with the people that travel up and down the east coast in their boats.

Charleston City Marina, Home of the MegaDock

Charleston Harbor Marina

Thanks those look very nice. Any other suggestions. The hope is to use the houseboat as a sort of Beach house to explore the surrounding area's. The Harbor Marina is especially nice since you get to use the amenities of the resort as a slip holder. Any other suggestions?

Ashley Marina

Toler's Cove Marina - South Carolina's Offshore Charters and Fishing Headquarters

Isle of Palms - IOP Marina

St. Johns Yacht Harbor

Bohicket Marina, Johns Island, SC: permanent boat slips for sale and lease, between Kiawah and Seabrook Islands

I can neither confirm or deny the quality of any of the above. Charleston is mostly water, so there are lots of choices out there.
