Question What can I do about credit checks?

I would like to know from anyone that can tell me, What can you do to find an apartment somewhere when you don't have good credit. I have a good job and good references but due to some bad advice I don't have real good credit, although it is getting better. The few things I have will be coming off in the next year but I don't want to wait that long to move. I have cleaned off the wrong info that was put on my report, but some things are still there. I would like to move this summer/fall. Any help would be nice. Thanks......

Be up-front and give some explaining and really show off your references. Maybe you can show professional along with personal. good luck

My sister's credit is not so hot. She recently rented a 2BR, 2B at Carrington Place in NE Columbia without major problems. Usually if you can wave the deposit and a month's rent in the face of the property management company, they will not turn you away.
