I'm a professional on a longer term work assignment in SC. Can anyone recommend nice motels/hotels in and around the Goose Creek area that offer weekly rates?

By "nice" I mean clean, in a safe area, where everything works and the plumbing under the sink doesn't have a daily leak all over the floor (even though it's "fixed" on a daily basis).

A breakfast in the AM in the lobby would be a nice plus, too. So far, I've tried a couple that just didn't meet the criteria above I don't think I'm expecting too much (or am I?)

-Thanks!

Goose Creek doesn't really have a huge selection of hotels and the few that are there do not have good reviews. You might want to check into the North Charleston or Summerville area.

Default hotels is GC

There are 3 hotels in GC proper, but not what I would call 3 stars. There is a Days inn and BW at exit 203, but for the money I would go to exit 199A, Summerville. They have a Holiday Inn express and Country inn and suites that both have a breakfast. they are both an easy drive to GC. There is a movie theatre and a bunch of places to eat nearby. That's where I put my family.

There's also a Hampton Inn on Holiday Drive in Summerville as well (same road as Holiday Inn Express and Country Inn & Suites). Definitely great and relatively inexpensive places to stay.
