Now going to the beach might be a different story - at least if you plan on going into the ocean - as the water usually isn't warm enough for that until mid-May or so.

I would count on 70's -- could be nice enough to lay on the beach or around a heated pool but definitely not swimming in the ocean. Mind you last April (first week) some people dared to go in. It was not that warm out though (high 70's).

Yes I would also like to relocate there. I was there only once when I was in my early-mid twenties and I loved it there. So homey and quaint. I would also like to know if there is a wind chill factor in Charelstion, SC. Thanks a lot. Looking forward to hear your prompt reply My best, the Weather Wiccan, complete sorcer for the new millienimn

April usually has great weather, warm, but humidity isn't very high. Flowers are blooming all over...is anything so great as Charleston in the spring?

But be warned, like beachme said, it might be 55 or 60 one week and 85-88 the next. Spring is unpredictable.
