Honest mechanic
We were driving around Summerville today and our car made a funny sound for a few seconds. It sounded like there was something stuck underneath like a branch or something. Now it seems fine but since we have to drive about 700 miles back to NY soon we would like to take it and have it checked out on a lift anyway just to be sure it's not something else. Does anyone have any suggestions for an honest place that won't rip us off? My husband knows somewhat about cars but still, were far from home and they could tell us anything.

The only place we have ever gone outside of the dealership is the Monroe shop on Trolley Road. We get oil changes there. They also checked out a used car we were buying. It's to the right of the Burger King on the corner of Trolley Road and Midland Parkway (near Publix).

I live in the neighbor hood behind his place, makes it real convienent when I can walk back to the house when I have to drop off a vehicle.

We just got back from Moose's and they were the nicest people. They checked out everything and found nothing. I guess we just picked up something and dragged it a ways and thats what (I hope) made the noise. Thanks again Tom! Today we are going to Mt Pleasant and Charleston.
