Default Bargain furniture etc...

If anyone could throw me some names of some good discount furniture stores, outlets etc...

Do you have TJ Maxx and/or Marshalls down there?

Good junk/salvage stores?

I love a good find

Thanks.

I don't know if she is still open.

Ashley funiture used to have a store here, but I think they are closed or closing.

Paiges is still open.

Was told Ashley was closed but I wouldn't buy anything from there if they were still open.

Habitat for Humanity stores have furniture and all kinds of other things.

Yes we have TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross.

Where is TJ Maxx? The one right next to Marhsalls has been closed for some time now, is there another?

Try Rugged Warehouse. Its one of Charlestons best kept secrets for discount clothing. Better than marshalls.

I bout two designer name tshirts that retailed for 49 bux and a pair of brand name jeans that retail for 79 bux. I left the store with 36 dollar tab!

We were by the Ashley store, and they were moving furniture back into the store - according to the server at the restaurant, a new owner is opening the store back up come March - still Ashley Furniture. But again this was info according to the server.

We were killing time, and went into Big Lots - was surprised to see they had furniture - I think it was Broyhill that had just arrived - we've never been into a Big Lots before, and were surprised to see they sold furniture! Costco and Sams Club will have great deals on furniture also, just limited to what they have at these locations. Other areas of the country they have a wider selection of furniture, Costco even has some Home stores on the west coast.

Forgot - JC Penney online right now is clearancing out a LOT of furniture items - I have a difficult time buying without touching as my husband is a large man, and not everything is appropriate for him - he's literally snapped the back on a dining room chair by pushing on the back - so we usually buy heavy pieces.

I had forgotten about Big Lots.

I'm surprised the new owner is going to keep the name after the reputation the last one left. I would be hesitant to purchase anything from there until I heard from people that had good experiences.
