May I beg of your assistance:

Which of these communities would you rate as the "Better" overall neighborhood? (30-40 Crowd, Professionals. Tennis & Golf)

Criteria:
Friendly and active
Nicer Homes and Upkeep of facilities
Resale Value
Best overall feel

If it were you; Where would you purchase? Why? I would appreciate the opinions of people who actually live in or near the area.

We will be visiting very soon and would wish to narrow down the communities of interest. We will only have a limited amount of time to investigate the MANY possibilies.

(We will also be searching in the West Ashley and Mt P areas.)

Thank you all very much, it is so difficult to move into a completely new area.

You will get a feel for each when you visit. They both have their strong suites to recommend.

Personally, we really liked Legend Oaks, but we noticed the traffic near Legend Oaks can get pretty bad during rush hour. It's far from the interstate, too, so if you have to travel a lot, you might want to find something closer to the highway.
