Come on now I have the Charleston weather plugged into my phone, and it say it's 30, going up to 40+. Is it that hard to deal with it for a week or two when you have paradise the rest of the year?

Just to give some perspective, we're single digits at night heading to a blistering 20 for a high

It is hard to deal with when it never gets that cold down here......

The coldest I have ever actually seen with my own eyes, here is 17 and it was up into the mid 40's by the late afternoon when I had to change out the radiator in the jeep that had frozen in the 17 degrees aborted comute that morning....

Paradise eh? Are you referring to the 4 months of 90+ Hazy/Hot & humid days where you walk out of the house and melt? 4 months of sticking my head in a preheated oven at 400 is not paradise, sorry.

On the flip side though > Feb, Mar, Apr, Oct & Nov are just wonderful

Well truth is that paradise, besides being used in a tongue
and cheek kind of way, is a state of mind.

It is quite possible that after living in another enviroment for a time
those 4months of heat may seem kind of inviting
