I just wrote a screenplay and since you (RiWrites) are an actor I figured I would offer you a part. I think you would be perfect as a bump on a log. Try not to "over-act" if you know what I mean. Just be natural. Here are some of your lines so you can get started.

In the spirit of another post here.
Perhaps Parris Island would be the "Bohemian vibe" in South Carolina that you seek -- Twemh!
Some deep conversations going on. I am sure your opinion would be welcome there!

I am guessing you want to be bohemian in Charelston because everyone in the North is a lot quicker to call BS? Or simply not tell you were the cool joints are. Just a guess. ;-)

Mrpeatie you may be onto something. The people who follow the bohemian lifestyle up North are mature people. They wouldn't have time for someone who wants to be a part time bohemian. Either you are one or you are not.
Mcevoy the people on Parris Island would make him run crying home to his mommy with their deep conversations.
And Twemh you comment means nothing to me. It just shows you are either a child or you unfortunately have the mind of a child. And if it is the later than you need to be pitied because you can't help what you are.

I have the mind of child, the heart of a bear, and the penis of a flea. Now that is eclectic. I'm the culture you need Riwrites. We should hang out.

i think this is true most places in terms of how the real people living a"bohemian lifestyle" feel....
the term "yuppie" or "yippie" is not a positive one....
however i think someone can be drawn to the lifestyle and weave it into their daily lives of course. but never fully live it or be fully embraced by those who do.

Unless you find other yuppies. I should have just asked...
"Are there any yuppies in Charleston?"

Yes- we have Yuppies!!! In spades even.
Mt Pleasant is the easiest spot to find them but there are areas of all the local communities that are quite yuppie friendly. If a nice neighborhood and the ability to drive downtown or to the beach to get temporary fixes of art/music/fleeting hippy vibes are the real goal you will be perfectly happy.
The more diversity loving yuppies tend to love the Hampton Park/Wagner Terrace area.
I wish you had framed it that way from the start- 'yuppie with artistic tendencies/appreciates a little bit of an alternative crowd' would have been much better recieved than the BoBo meme.

Mrpeatie, I agree if they had used the Yuppie etc term it would have been better received. Bohemian could have meant just about anything.
What is a good part of Mt Pleasant? It seems to be a pretty big area at least from looking on the map. I am trying to find an area that has a good Publix in it. My best friend might be moving with me and she can transfer to another Publix.
