No indoor mall but there is Azalea Square AZALEA SQUARE, SUMMERVILLE SC, 29483 and there is supposed to be a Town Center built with upscale shops, but I don't know if that is delayed now because of the economy. There are also shops coming to the Cane Bay area.

There are sections of North Charleston that most people stay away from but not all of North Charleston is bad. This is the shopping area of Charleston. You have Toys r us, Target, lots of furniture stores, old navy, barnes and noble, restaurants, best buy, lots of other stores and the mall. It's safe as any mall can be.
