Question Nursing Programs in or near Charleston? Any advice is appreciated.

So I will be moving to the Charleston area the first of July with my boyfriend. He is an EMT and I am a CNA, leaning towards the Summerville area, so any input on this is appreciated as well.

Anyways I am trying to start a nursing program in order to get my Associates in Nursing, and there is this great school here in Charlotte that is strictly a nursing school, no extra classes, no beating around the bush. It took me forever to find this school and now with the move to Charleston I am hoping to find a similar school like this in the Charleston area. I have looked at local 'Colleges' but I would much rather go into a strictly nursing program. Help?

Thanks so much in advance.

Trident, MUSC...and probably more.

Just be prepared for below average pay.

Less than average wage for CNA/EMT's or Nursing itself? I realize the job market is down but I figured with a higher cost of living there that it may pay a little better than others.

RN pay (and you can figure the other positions from there) is not great. My fiance made $10 more per hour in other parts of SC. There seems to be quite a few new nursing students for the hospitals around here to choose from...and that's one reason they don't feel the need to have a great pay scale.
