my uncle is looking to buy a condo to store his boat/ put out when he comes down here. he lives in houston, tx. we just moved to olde park in mt pleasant, so a condo on the peninsula, in mt pleasant, or maybe daniel island would be ideal.

what are our options for a condo w/ dock and boat storage facilities?
he would rather not have a condo on IOP or sully's isle b/c he wants to put off into marsh or rivers, not saltwater/ocean.
the price range is about 300k-500k, is this possible?

Condos with their own boat docks aren't as common as you'd think, but they do exist. I'd check out Ripley Light Marina, just across the Ashley River from downtown, as well as Turtle Bay and Mariner's Cay down towards Folly Beach. All put into the marsh/river. The ones in Turtle Bay and Ripley Light come with the dock/boat slip in their sales price, other have them available to purchase/lease at an additional cost.

McClellanville and Awendaw are both going to be salt water.

No condos on the lakes, yet...
