I need help from the locals to figure out where the best fried oysters are in Charleston. Coming down for memorial day weekend and wanted to have some fried oysters.

Don't know about fried oysters, not much calling for them down here, but roasted are really good at Bowen's Island...

Disagree. Fried oysters are quite popular, probably just not at your house. Granted, having local oysters on the half-shell is quite a treat, since we have creeks full of oyster beds and oyster roasts are popular group activities. Frying is just another way to enjoy these slimy little creatures.
Agree with the Wreck. They have a knack for frying just about everything well.
