Default Pine Straw Mulch in Mount Pleasant?

Anybody have a good source for Pine Straw in Mount Pleasant? I paid $4.50 per bale delivered late last year but I have seen some delivery trucks advertising $3.00 per bale delivered. I didn't have time to write down their phone number. Anybody have a good source for good quality straw at a decent price? I need probably 75 bales or so. Thanks in advance

The truck you saw is probably Martinez. They operate from the corner of Hwy 41 and Clement's Ferry Rd. They dropped off 20 bales in my yard Thursday.

We also need pinestraw - but live in Summerville. Anyone know of a supplier that is less than $4.50 a bail?

Thanks!

If the $4.50/bale price includes them putting it out in your beds, it's worth every penny. Putting out 75 bales, is hard work.. but I guess you already know that. The straw is bound so tight in each bale you have to work to get the clumps out. Plus, there's so much dust and allergens involved that if you have allergy's you do a whole lot of sneezing and itching.. not to mention stings from the needles. It is so pretty once the job is done, however.
