Default Need Seasoned Oak and/or Hickory

Does anyone know where I can get some split, seasoned Oak and Hickory?

If I could order exactly what I wanted, I'd ask for ~8" logs split to wrist/forearm diameter. But in the real world I'll take what I can find.

Anyone know where I can get some Oak and/or Hickory that's 10-12+ months old? I'll probably buy a cord if I can find a supply. I also don't mind driving a bit to get it.

Thanks.

Chopped oak is available everywhere in the Upstate, and we have lots of hickory trees as well, although it is not typically available as firewood. Have you ever tried pecan wood? I really enjoy using it, along with oak and especially hickory. We've got lots of pecan trees in the Upstate as well. I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for in the Lowcountry, but if not, the Upstate's suburban growth and occasional ice/snow storms leave us with plenty of options.

There is a house on 17N in Mt P, just past Hwy 41 that has piles and piles of split wood for sale. It's on the opposite side of the road from Wally World. I don't recall a sign or anything, sorry. If my mind cooperates, and I remember, I'll look today and let you know.

Not sure if it would help you , but Jim and Nicks in North Charleston uses wood for thier BBQ also. You may be able to ask where they buy thier wood from.
