i have lived in goose creek for 2 years now and i cant think of a better place to live in charleston area...Its alot more affordable then N.Charleston and Mt.Pleasent yet its close enough to all the attractions so you dont have to drive an hour to get to the beach...From goose creek it takes me 20 min to get to Isle of palms. Its nice here i recommend anyone to move here. :]

When I first moved to SC I lived in Goose Creek for 10 months. Then I decided to move to Summerville because of the school system. If I had my druthers, I would move back to Goose Creek in a minute. Although there are not too many amenities in GC, the drive to them elsewhere is not bad. I like Summerville, but the [seemingly] uncontrolled growth is bothersome.

alright thanks everyone for your help. I am coming down in august to visit goose creek. I will get a hotel somewhere and drive to surrounding areas to get a feel for the place. From what I hear on here, and from people I know who have been there, it is a beautiful place and I am told that I will love it. thanks
