In recent times, many people seem to think buying canibas is a harmless victimess crime. I don't like smoking dope, but have nothing personally against it. I have nothing against the idea of someone putting a plant in the ground and smoking it.
But, when you buy dope these are the kinds of parisites you are supporting. The kind of people that go around driving better vechicles than most of us do, when they have never done a hard days work in their life.
When you buy dope you are creating a market for it, one so lucrative that others will kill to get a piece of the action.
When you buy dope, you are giving criminals the money to buy guns and go into innocent suburban neighbourhoods, and start intimidating and killing people.
When you buy dope you meet dealers who sell much stronger addictive stuff, and can get patrons hooked on just one "free sample".
When you buy dope you are giving guys like this the capital to move into better house- maybe the one next to yours!
Does anyone still think a gram of hash is harmless or victimless now?

Think about it logically for just one moment
The whole reason that people buy their marijuana from street dealers is because THERE'S NOWHERE ELSE TO GET IT. Most of the pot heads I've met are honest, working, tax paying American citizens. No pothead that I've met enjoys buying their pot from a street dealer, but they're going to smoke regardless of what the government says, so they are have no other alternative than the guy standing on the street corner. They would gladly pay their taxes on their "stash", especially if that means ensuring that the marijuana they were buying was FDA approved and regulated. If the government would end this senseless prohibition and embrace the fact that in reality weed is no worse in ANY way than alcohol, it would be a step towards disabling these dangerous drug cartels. Not to mention the incredible boost that would provide to the whole country off of tax revenue alone, not to mention the money saved by freeing those incarcerated for non-violent marijuana offenses. The boost would be immense to the southern states whose number one cash crop already is Marijuana (ex. TN, NC, KY). There are so many people who use marijuana, many of whom you'd never suspect, the whole argument about making its use more prevalent is bogus. If anything it would simply increase awareness and probably help the country see an overall decline in it's use, especially among teenagers who view it as "taboo". The fact of the matter is: economically, we're drowning. We cannot afford to continue to spend countless taxpayer dollars fighting something that could actually MAKE money for us. The alcohol prohibition failed MISERABLY, so why is the government continuing this obviously failing persecution of a simple plant that grows the same as your hibiscus, begonias, and sunflowers? Worst case scenario is we have a whole country of hungry, mellow, peaceful people. What would it be like if we had a country full of drunks?

Though I agree that the war on drugs has been a failure and that society should have more progressive cannabis laws, the end here does not justify the means. When I visited Amsterdam in the Netherlands 3 years ago, it doesn't have near the social problems that we do here and they gave up the war a long time ago. If you can't beat them, join them.
Though these people you know may love their weed, they should love their neighbours and their society more by not rewarding these kinds of criminals that would just as soon pop a cap in their A$$, as sell them a dime bag. The kind of scum that destory children and neighbourhoods.
All jokes aside, like most men I crave what the pimps are selling (probably more than these jugheads crave their dope), but most responsible men do not cave in and give these jerks their hard earned money so their hoes can buy some crack and keep the dealers in business!
Until the government regulates prostitution like they also do in the Netherlands, responsible men will be flying with hands solo!

Hopefully premeditation can be proven and these guys can be sent up the road to Death Row in Ridgeville. That is something the state doesn't do enough of!

this isn't based on "uppityness", it's based on well documented facts
N.Chas isn't in the top ten list of the most deadly cities in America for no reason... just the facts folks, just the facts

Oooooh, so it turns out those "greedy, violent" drug dealers weren't really to blame at all huh?
If someone pulls a gun on me, they sure as heck had better plan to use it. I'd have done the exact same thing in their situation.
