I didn't like the houses they presented in Hanahan, there are so many more that are much nicer especially in Otranto.

I didn't see that show, but a couple of years back when "flipping" was popular I saw one where they turned down one of the historic downtown charleston houses because the major cost to *fix it up* would out-way their chances for profit. Major structural damage..

Do they even have the "flip it" show anymore? I would think in this day and time "flipping" would be far too chancy.

Why, I wonder, did they pick the Hanahan area for their tv show about Charleston?

I saw some show about the "flipping houses" too, but it was oh James Island I think.

I think I saw that one too,Rock. Was that the house that they started working on immediately after closing without having their building permits and the neighbors were all upset and actually shut them down until they got their permits??

That one was interesting.. Everyone was in an uproar. ~Nothing like a little excitement to add intrigue to a building show~
