A new radio station has started at 1390 AM and 99.3 FM (a translator). It replaces WXTC. The station is called WSPO, and it is an all-sports station.

The station has several local programs, including a local morning sports show with Tony D, Neill Kirkpatrick, and Jennifer Burns, and an afternoon show called Southern Sports Now, with Jonas Mount (formerly at WTMZ), Seth Harp, and Nick Case.

They also have Sporting News Radio during the daytime, along with Dan Patrick.

Here is their website.

Also, WSPO will be at the SEC and ACC media days for football, and they plan a lot for the station coming up in the fall.
